Shirley PlexmanShirley Plexman
Director of Case & Disability Management

Shirley Plexman is a seventeen-year veteran of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Her expertise is in WSIB/STD/LTD claims management, Return to Work programs, investigation, appeals representation, Occupational Health & Safety procedures/policies, staffing and training.

Brenda RangerBrenda Ranger
Director of Risk Management & Training

Brenda Ranger helped to open the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board when it moved to Sudbury in 1980. Her areas of specialization are WSIB/STD/LTD case management, Return to Work programs, training, and an extensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.

In her current capacity, Brenda has obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars in credits for our clients on their WSIB Accident Cost, NEER, CAD-7, and MAP statements.

John Deacon John Deacon
Director of Claims Management & Appeals

John Deacon began acquiring his high level of expertise in WSIB/STD/LTD claims management, re-employment obligations, Return to Work programs and health care in 1980 while at the WSIB.

One of his strengths is in his ability to quickly delineate issues to contain claim costs. John can boast a high win rate with his methodical and articulate approach to appeals representation.


Bill Terrick
Health and Safety Training Specialist

Bill Terrick comes to RDMS from Falconbridge Ltd. where he initiated the first joint health and safety committee as both a union and management representative. His effective safety systems resulted in one million man-hours (five years) in the Mill Department without a lost time injury.

Bill has helped develop a mining specific safety and health audit through the Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association (MASHA). He also led many safety audits internationally.


Maurice Falcioni Maurice Falcioni

Co-ordinator


Maurice Falcioni brings a wealth of business, WSIB and insurance experience to RDMS. His WSIB background in both Adjudication and Vocational Rehabilitation gives him a unique perspective and insight into claims issues.

Maurice is certified in Health & Safety and is instrumental in providing advise to our clients that prevent accidents from occurring or from incidents recurring.

Maurice understands the needs of employers in not only reducing but eliminating accidents.

Health & Safety carry over into his personal life where he volunteers many hours and uses his skills as a coach, convener and proponent of fun and good health practices for today’s youth.


Debra Souliere Debra Souliere

Debra Souliere started her career in disability management as a Psychologist’s Assistant, administering and scoring psycho-vocational testing. Thereafter she went to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) where she developed her skills as a Vocational Rehabilitation Caseworker.

She continues to provide disability management services for occupational and non-occupational injuries and diseases, on behalf of RDMS Workplace Consultants.

Debra has been instrumental in developing processes that stop the WSIB from making inappropriate decisions on Labour Market Re-entry programs.


Viviane GauthierViviane Gauthier

RDMS Workplace Consultants are pleased to announce the addition of Viviane Gauthier to the company. Viviane joins the RDMS team as a specialist advising employers on the impact of NEER, MAP, Accident Costs and CAD-7 to their bottom line.

Before joining RDMS, Viviane worked at WSIB for over 26 years. During that time she counseled employers on all aspects of WSIB, from premiums to surcharges and rebates.

Viviane brings extensive experience as a Senior Revenue Specialist, Collection & Classification Investigator and Account Manager at the WSIB. This has enabled her to provide quick and efficient answers to employers as they weave their way through the WSIB maze.
